STANCYK, Adele

Adele Stancyk, Born in Argyle, MN on January 6, 1914 and died at home July 19, 2008 in Sacramento where she lived for the past 38 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church and active in the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, and her daughter, Jeanne Plattner. She is survived by her loving children: Betty Ryan (Patrick), Aggie Geminder, Anne Cohen, MaryLee Moritz (Alan), Susan Lorence (David), and John Stancyk (Mary); 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. There will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capital Ave., Sacramento. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Church, 2243 Irvin Way, Sacramento. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern CA, 2641 Cottage Way, Sacramento, 95825 or a charity of choice.
