Surprise Party - Miss Frances Dureski was surprised this week, Sunday 10 September 1922, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dureski at Marshland, Wisconsin, USA, the occasion being her 17th. birth anniversary. Dancing was enjoyed and refreshments served. Those present were the Misses Gertrude and Mary Cieminski, Verna Lilla, Elsie Multhaup, Blanch Gloupa, Laurine Dingfelder, Elizabeth Spittler, Elieanor, Clara and Esther Zenke, Theresa Newman, Irene Lubinski, Margaret, Rosella and Hattie Dureaski, Helen and Celia Rabiska, Messrs.

Frances Kathryn ‎(Dureske)‎ Siebenaler, 93, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, at St. Francis Nursing Home, La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. She was born September 10, 1905, in Marshland, Wisconsin, USA, to Joseph and Anna ‎(Gappa)‎ Dureske. She married Reinold John Siebenaler on October 30, 1928, in Winona, Minnesota, USA. They farmed in the Plainview, Minnesota, USA, area, and later moved to Winona, Minnesota, USA. In 1933, they moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. They were longtime members of St. Thomas More and Holy Trinity Catholic churches in La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. She is survived by her children, Richard ‎(Rita Seracki)‎ Siebenaler of La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA, Anna ‎(Donald)‎ Eggebakken of La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA, Joan ‎(Donald)‎ Vechell of Side Lake, Minnesota, USA, and Samuel ‎(Debra Kotnour)‎ Siebenaler of La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rosella ‎(Harold)‎ Cada of Winona, Minnesota, USA. she was preceded in death by her husband, Reinold Siebenaler on May 8, 1994; two sisters, Margaret ‎(Stanley)‎ Wieczorek of Bluff Siding, Wisconsin, USA, and Lois Harriet ‎(Gilbert)‎ Holland of La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA; and three brothers Gerhardt, Joseph, and Leonard Dureske. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1333 S. 13th. St., La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. Rev. Larry Berger will officiate, with burial to be held at the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. The Blaschke Funeral Home, La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials are preferred to the Holy Trinity Endowment Trust Fund.
