Einzelheiten zeigen Gemeinsame Notiz: - Clara KEMP, the daughter of Henry and Clara (KRELL) KEMP, was born in D ec 1845 in Seneca County, Ohio. The KEMP family were natives of Haberg y, Luxembourg Province, Belgium, and were living in Big Spring Township n ear New Riegel, Ohio. She was baptized at St. Boniface Church in New R iegel on 14 Dec 1845. Her sponsors were Nicholas FECK and Clara NIEDER CHOR. When Henry KEMP died in 1850, Clara, along with her brothers Mic hael Otto and Nicholas, went to live with their uncle John Nicholas KRE LL in Tiffin, Ohio.

Clara's mother remarried in 18 Sept 1853. Clara and her new husband Jo hn CORNELY moved west to Iowa, in 1856-57, bringing only their two smal l children ‎(John and Mary)‎. John Nicholas KRELL became guardian of the K EMP children in 1857. Clara and John probably wanted to get establish ed before bringing the whole family west. In 1860, Clara and her broth er Nicholas were living in Prairie Spring Twp, Jackson County, Iowa. T his was near St. Donatus, Iowa, a noted Luxembourg settlement. Their b rother Michael Otto was living in Tiffin in 1860 with John Nicholas KRE LL. By 1865, the entire family was together in Brownsville, Houston Co unty, Minnesota.

After Nicholas' death Clara continued to live on the family farm for a f ew years then moved to Winona about 1905 She lived there until her deat h at 159 East 4th St.
