[William Carman.FTW] He was a tailor and settled in Watetown Mass as early as the beginning of 1701, He bought Edward Harrington Home on 19 March 1701, one mansion house with 12 acres of orchyerd, meadow, and arable, situate, lying and being in Watertown aforeard." He married first in Sudbury 22 Sept 1701 Mercy Goodnew she was the dau of Capt John Goodenow of Sudbury. She died in Childbed. 1710 he married Mary-------, She died and he married a thrid time. Rebecca widow of James Livermore and dau of John and Elizabeth (Trowbrige) Myrick of Newton, then she married James Livermore of Weston who d. 20 Aug 1720(Bondshistory of Watertown.pp.374, 374-392) He was a constable or collector of Watertown. He had, by small purchases at different times, acquried a good farm, which is said to have included the top of Prospect Hill, about half a milewest of Waltham Plain. The date of his death is not known but his will was executed 15 Nov 1736 and offered for probate 14 Feb. 1736\7.
