Bach, age 88 of Minnesota Lake, MN, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Rochester, MN, from complications of an aortic aneurysm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 23, 2007 at 2:00 PM at St. John ht Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 3:00-6:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Father Eugene Stenzel will officiate, with burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery - Minnesota Lake. Elizabeth Josephine Bach was born October 28, 1918, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth (Hassing) Evan in rural Minnesota Lake. She was married on May 17, 1938 for 67 years to Remigius Bach until his death in 2005. Elizabeth lived for the past 69 years in the same farm house she entered on her wedding day. She held the most important job of being a wife and mother. She was truly dedicated to her faith, family and farm life. Elizabeth is survived by 4 sons and 8 daughters: Donald (Sharon ) Bach-Reno, NV; Judy (Matt) Richardson-Janesville, MN; Betty (Jim) Koberoski-Mankato, MN; Emilie (Tom) Schwen-Bloomington, IN; Bonnie (Gerry) Holmes-Janesville, MN; Ray Bach-Chicago, IL; Joan (Dick) Stenzel-Minnesota Lake, MN; Sally (Gene) Roesler-Waldorf, MN; Gary (Julie) Bach-Minnesota Lake, MN; Becky Dolye-Sparta, WI; Paul (Ann) Bach-Shakopee, MN; and Philomena (Mark) Kauffmann-St. Peter, MN; one daughter-in-law: Brenda (Steve) Skramstad-Eagle Lake, MN; sister-in-law: Elnora Evan-Mankato, MN; 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Remigius, one son, William; one brother, 3 sisters and 4 grandchildren.
