Georgetown…Dr. Dan Kukulka, 67, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home in Georgetown.
Born December 28, 1950 in Chicago, IL, Dr. Kukulka was the son of the late Louis Benjamin Kukulka and the late Evangeline Julia Dylla Kukulka. He was a parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. James and member and past president of the Myrtle Beach Kiwanis Club. Dr. Kukulka was predeceased by his wife of 21 years, Jane H. Kukulka. Dr. Kukulka worked in sales.
Survivors include his son, Steven Kukulka and wife Rebecca of Charleston, SC; his companion Susan Martin, and Ms. Martin's children, Samuel Martin and Kevin (Lori) Martin and her grandchildren, Christopher Martin and Chandler Martin; his brother, John Kukulka and wife Kathy of Bolingbrook, IL; and his sister, Susan Bloom and husband Robert of Brighton, MI. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Catholic Church of St. James on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Timothy M. Lijewski. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church and also starting at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the home of Susan Martin in Georgetown.
