Steve will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth; sons, Steve of Houston, TX, Donald (Ann Marie) of Wilmar, MN, Carl (Carol) of Anoka, MN; daughters, Carol (Mark) Johnson of Andover, MN, Karen (Colin) Brown of Fort Dodge, IA, Karla (Gary) Schwanz of St. James, MN, and their mother, Marlene; grandchildren, Aaron, Tony, Michael, Kristy, Tiffany, Daron, Ingrid, Philip, Max, Josh, Leah, Shayla, Shawna, Jacob, Joseph, Natalie; great-grandchildren, Pierson, Lucas, Trever, Oliver, David, Joslyn, Alex, Randi; sister, Junita Hawbaker; sisters-in-law, Mitzi, Ruth and Bonnie; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Diane and Jerry; and his cat, Snoopy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl, Irvin, Richard, Henry, Don, Norman, Lloyd; sister, Sylra.
Funeral Service on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
